Responsibilities
- Be responsible for daily operations management including planning, execution, scheduling, housekeeping, maintenance, safety, and process improvements.
- Manage and coordinate the activities of staff including training, employee development, performance evaluation, hiring decisions, and the establishment of goals and performance objectives for assigned department.
- Maintain strong knowledge of all product line offerings and inventory needs.
- Ensures that established regulatory environmental and safety standards are maintained. Manages all activities and decisions relative to the safety of the job and the surrounding area.
- Ownership of the P&L, including operating costs, site inventory levels, and pricing margins.
- Develop and execute growth strategies; support the Sales team by traveling throughout assigned territory to find and grow new opportunities.
- Develop sales plans, identify target accounts, and provide oversight to Inside Sales Team.
- Sustain and elevate customer relationships by providing superior customer service.
- Ensure staffing level is appropriate based on business needs and that staff is properly trained.
- Provide continual evaluation of department processes, methods, and activities to assure the most effective use of resources and equipment.
- Establish a culture of safety, operational, and customer service excellence within the organization.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and ability to learn technology utilized by Operations.
- Must be able to communicate with employees, customers, and suppliers effectively and confidently at all levels of the organization.
