Position Summary

Elite Structures is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Adel, GA. This full-time, on-site role is responsible for managing invoicing, posting and applying payments, and maintaining accurate and well-organized job files for active and completed projects. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring timely collections and clear financial tracking by job while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, review, and issue customer invoices accurately and on schedule

• Maintain organized and up-to-date job files, including all billing and payment documentation

• Post and apply customer payments to the correct jobs and accounts

• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on past-due balances

• Maintain accurate records of payments, credits, and adjustments

• Communicate professionally with customers to resolve billing questions and discrepancies

• Assist with collections while maintaining positive customer relationships

• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures

• Coordinate with internal teams to verify job details, billing milestones, and payment status

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts receivable, invoicing, and payment processing

• Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data organization, basic formulas, reporting)

• Ability to manage and maintain job files in a project-based or job-cost environment

• Experience handling collections and overdue accounts

• Effective communication skills for customer and internal interactions

• Working knowledge of accounting software and financial tools

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred

• Experience in construction or manufacturing accounting is a plus
