What You'll Do
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based physical therapy services
- Complete accurate and timely documentation
- Supervise and mentor therapy technicians
- Meet productivity expectations while maintaining excellent patient care
- Ensure compliance with documentation, billing, and regulatory standards
- Educate patients on home exercise programs using clinic-approved software
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient progress
- Assist with clinic operations and contribute to a positive team environment
- Participate in continuing education and ongoing clinical development initiatives
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral level degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university required
- Minimum two years’ experience in a physician office or orthopedic setting (new graduates must demonstrate superior ability to perform through a clinical affiliation or by other comparable means)
- Active Physical Therapy license in the state of Tennessee
- Extensive training in orthopedic care and manual therapy preferred
- Management experience preferred
- Extensive knowledge in exercise physiology, biomechanics and exercise prescription
- Ability to manage treatment of multiple patients, administer appropriate modalities and supervise technicians
- Working knowledge of billing issues, CPT codes and basic knowledge of insurance related issues
- Comfortable effectively using MS office programs such as MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook
- Great verbal and written communication
- Neat and professional appearance
- Able to maintain company legal and professional confidentiality requirements across employees, patients, and clients
