Senior Business Development Manager – OEM
Contract Manufacturing | Sheet Metal & Welding
We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive new logo acquisition within our contract manufacturing platform. This role is focused on securing long term OEM manufacturing partnerships across precision sheet metal fabrication and welding environments.
The role calls for a proven contract manufacturing hunter who understands how to identify, pursue, and close complex OEM opportunities. This is a revenue generating role with a clear mandate to build and scale OEM accounts. This role works in partnership with the Director of Sales and broader commercial team, with a focused mandate on OEM revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and acquire new OEM customers within targeted verticals
• Develop and execute outbound prospecting strategy
• Build executive level relationships with engineering
• Manage full sales cycle from introduction through signed agreement
• Structure pricing aligned with margin objectives
• Expand newly acquired accounts
Ideal Background
• 7–15 years in contract manufacturing sales
• Direct experience in sheet metal fabrication and welding required
• Experience in machining environments is a strong plus
• Proven success acquiring and scaling OEM accounts
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes, materials, and production
Compensation: $80,000-120,000 Commission Bonus: up to $300,000 per year
