Licensed Psychiatric Technicians needed for Corrections facility in San Diego, California.

The LPT provides care for patients with mental health conditions by administering medication, monitoring behavior, and assisting with daily living activities. They help implement treatment plans, lead therapy groups, and provide emotional support to inmates as needed.

  • $40 hourly - $28 taxable and $12 nontaxable stipend

  • Multiple shifts available, 6a-2:30p OR 2p-10:30p, full time only

  • 40 hours weekly

  • 27 week contract position that will extend

Requirements:

  • Active license as psychiatric tech in California

  • Active BLS from American Heart Association

  • Prefer at least 6 months of acute care work experience
