What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flooring Showroom Sales Consultant position at Elite Pro Flooring?
We're hiring an experienced Flooring Showroom Sales Consultant to guide customers through the selection process from first visit to final decision. You'll be the face of our showroom — equal parts design advisor, product expert, and closer.
What You'll Do
- Greet and engage showroom customers, understanding their needs, budget, and project timeline
- Provide expert guidance on flooring products including hardwood, LVP, tile, carpet, and laminate
- Develop and present quotes, following up consistently to move customers through the sales process
- Build lasting relationships that generate referrals and repeat business
- Collaborate with the installation team to ensure seamless project handoffs
- Maintain an organized, visually appealing showroom floor
- Hit individual sales goals and contribute to overall team performance
- Lead generate, followup, and close.
What We're Looking For
- 2 years of sales experience, preferably in flooring, home improvement, interior design, or a related field
- Strong product knowledge or the ability to learn quickly
- Natural ability to connect with customers and earn their trust
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication and follow-up habits
- Self-motivated with a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Comfortable working an occasional weekend (showroom hours apply)
