Job Title: General Construction Project Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized General Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, budgeting, and supervising construction activities while ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of construction projects, from initial planning to final completion
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and work plans
- Coordinate and supervise superintendents
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards
- Review project plans, specifications, and contracts
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports
- Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues proactively
- Conduct site meetings and communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and inspectors
- Approve invoices, change orders, and project documentation
- Ensure timely project closeout, including punch lists and final inspections
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager, Field Engineer, Project Engineer, Estimating
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Preferred Skills
- OSHA certification
- Experience with budgeting and cost control
- Strong negotiation and management skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites
