Assistant Controller

This role offers hands-on ownership of the close process in a fast-moving, global environment, working closely with the Corporate Controller who is invested in developing their future successor.
You’ll be deeply involved in month-, quarter-, and year-end close activities, preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements while digging into variances and trends to ensure results are complete and accurate. As part of a lean corporate accounting team, you’ll lead global consolidation efforts across a complex legal entity structure, including intercompany eliminations, non-controlling interests, and cash flow reporting, all with audit-ready rigor.
The position provides broad exposure to senior leadership and the Audit Committee through the preparation of financial materials and technical accounting analysis, as well as direct ownership of external and foreign statutory audits. You’ll partner cross-functionally with Treasury, FP&A, Tax, and other finance teams, help strengthen and standardize internal controls, and drive process and systems improvements—particularly around close efficiency, automation, and SAP. With responsibility for accounting policy, technical research, and close governance backup for the Head of Corporate Accounting, this role is designed for someone eager to grow into a leadership position while gaining a holistic view of how a global business operates end to end.
Must Haves:
6 years of experience across both public accounting/audit and corporate/private accounting
Strong knowledge of technical accounting/GAAP
IFRS reporting
Salary : $145,000 - $180,000
