Hiring: Payroll Manager | Los Angeles, CA (Onsite)
Compensation: $120K – $140K full benefits
Location: Los Angeles, CA (fully onsite)
A growing, mid-sized company in Los Angeles is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead and optimize a high-volume payroll function. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.
What You’ll Do:
• Lead and mentor a team of 5 payroll professionals
• Oversee semi-monthly payroll for 3,000 employees
• Ensure compliance with California wage & hour laws and tax regulations
• Manage payroll systems (ADP, E-time or similar) and process improvements
• Partner with HR & Accounting on payroll operations and reporting
• Handle audits, reporting, and complex payroll transactions
What We’re Looking For:
• 5 years of payroll leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of California payroll and tax regulations
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ADP or similar systems
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
