In this role, you will help promote independence, dignity, comfort, and quality of life by assisting with daily living activities and offering respectful companionship.
Responsibilities- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support as directed in the care plan.
- Provide support with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and light household tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
- Offer companionship, emotional support, and encouragement while respecting each individual’s preferences and routine.
- Assist with medication reminders, appointment support, and other non-clinical care tasks as assigned.
- Support community participation, errands, and transportation assistance when applicable and authorized.
- Observe and report changes in condition, behavior, or environment to the appropriate supervisor or care team member.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow established care plans, safety guidelines, and confidentiality requirements.
- Promote a respectful, safe, and inclusive environment at all times.
- Compassionate, reliable, and able to provide respectful personal care to individuals with varying needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow directions, care plans, and safety procedures.
