We are seeking a proactive, detail-driven Account Manager to oversee and manage active client accounts within our organization. This role is focused on owning the follow-up process, tracking account progress, and ensuring all client accounts stay up to date from submission through completion.


This is not an administrative support or assistant position. The Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact responsible for monitoring account status, identifying pending items, and driving each case forward to completion with insurance and financial institutions.


The ideal candidate is highly organized, persistent with follow-ups, comfortable communicating with financial companies, and skilled at managing multiple open accounts at once. Success in this role requires ownership, accountability, and strong follow-through on all outstanding business.


Position Type:

Part-time or full-time (flexible depending on availability)

Compensation:

$77,000


Responsibilities:
  • Manage and actively oversee a pipeline of client accounts from submission through completion
  • Track all pending cases, requirements, and outstanding items across multiple accounts
  • Follow up directly with insurance and financial service companies to obtain status updates and resolve delays
  • Monitor account progress and ensure timelines are being met
  • Maintain accurate records of all updates, communications, and case statuses
  • Identify missing requirements or issues that may delay account processing and take action to resolve them
  • Communicate status updates internally regarding account progress and outstanding items
  • Ensure all accounts are properly organized, updated, and moving forward efficiently
  • Coordinate with internal team members when additional action is needed to complete a case

Qualifications:
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active accounts
  • Excellent communication skills, especially over the phone and via email
  • Comfortable contacting insurance and financial companies for updates and problem resolution
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-up and persistence
  • Ability to track progress and manage deadlines across multiple cases
  • Professional, reliable, and accountable in managing assigned work
  • Experience with spreadsheets or tracking systems preferred
