Job Overview
Elite NeuroSpine & Vascular Institute is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing neurosurgery and neurovascular practice.
The APP will work closely with Dr. Joshua Bentley and will be part of a planned three-provider APP team. The team will share responsibility for outpatient clinic, inpatient care, postoperative management, wound checks, and other expanding clinical services.
Our goal is to create a rotating schedule that provides continuity for patients while distributing clinic, inpatient, Friday, and weekend responsibilities across the APP team.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities vary by rotation and include outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding, and flex/specialty clinic support. In clinic, the APP evaluates new and established neurosurgical and neurovascular patients, performs pre- and post-op visits, reviews imaging and labs, develops treatment plans with the physician, manages medications, and provides patient education and documentation. In the inpatient setting, the APP rounds on hospitalized patients with Dr. Bentley, assists with post-op care, reviews diagnostics, coordinates with hospital staff, supports discharge planning, and participates in weekend coverage when assigned. Flex/specialty duties include wound checks, urgent or overflow visits, and office-based procedures, with opportunity to help develop services to enhance the growth of the practice.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with eligibility to practice in the state.
- Proven experience working in hospital settings such as Level I or Level II trauma centers, ICU, PICU, or emergency rooms is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, Nextgen.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining high standards of patient care and confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.

Pay: From $110,000.00 per year
