Landscape & Hardscape Laborer
Elite Lawn Care & Landscaping Inc. – Western New York
Elite Lawn Care & Landscaping Inc. is hiring Landscape & Hardscape Laborers for the upcoming season. We specialize in building high-quality outdoor spaces including paver patios, retaining walls, outdoor living areas, landscape installations, and commercial property maintenance throughout Western New York.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in physical work, and wants to learn the skills involved in professional landscape and hardscape construction.
Position Overview
Landscape Laborers work alongside experienced crew leaders and installers to help build patios, retaining walls, landscape beds, and outdoor living spaces. This is a hands-on outdoor position that involves physical work and the opportunity to learn valuable construction and landscaping skills.
Depending on project schedules, team members may also assist our property maintenance crews with lawn mowing, string trimming, and general landscape maintenance at commercial and residential properties.
Responsibilities
- Assist with installation of paver patios, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor features
- Perform site preparation including excavation, grading, and base installation
- Assist with planting trees, shrubs, and landscape materials
- Install mulch, soil, stone, and other bulk landscape materials
- Operate hand tools and basic power equipment
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Maintain clean, safe, and professional job sites
- Work efficiently with the crew to complete projects on schedule
- Assist maintenance crews when needed with lawn mowing, string trimming, and general property maintenance
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical outdoor labor and lift heavy materials
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Landscaping, construction, or hardscape experience preferred but not required
- Valid New York State Driver’s License required
- DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain one) required
- Reliable transportation to and from work
