Elite Home Health, LLC is a growing home health care agency located in Bedford, IN. We are seeking to hire a dedicated scheduler to join our team! You will be responsible for essential coordination tasks as it relates to caregiver and nurse scheduling.
Job Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Filling unassigned and/or called off shifts
- Building future caregiver schedules for authorization periods spanning from 9 weeks up to 6 months
- Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and efficiently
- Liaison between nursing staff, patients, and caregiver when scheduling patient initial evaluation, admission, etc.
- Responsible for ensuring field staff complete visit notes timely
- Maintain and update Master Schedule in Excel
- Required to review and correct all scheduled shifts weekly to ensure accuracy for billing and payroll
Qualifications/Skills:
- Must perform and manage multiple responsibilities concurrently and work well under pressure
- High School diploma or GED, Associates Degree preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in a medical office environment
- Minimum of one (1) year experience with medical scheduling
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision
- Have critical thinking skills
- Ability to problem solve effectively
- Great communication and confidentiality
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Valid Driver's License
- Reliable transportation
- Must pass a background check
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
