Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Experienced Tax Preparer / Accountant to join our energetic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in conducting Individual, Corporations, Partnership tax returns, accounting financial reports, Payroll, Sales, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in various financial disciplines while contributing to the success of our firm.
Expectations:
* Experience in Lacerte or other Tax Software
* Proficient use of Quick Books Desktop & Quick Books Online
* Experience CFS & ADP programs
* SAGE
* Payroll Preparation, Payroll Taxes, Quarterly Returns
* Sales Tax Reporting
* Tax Preparation -- Individuals, Corporations, and Partnership Returns
* Apply for New Corporation
* Accounting Experience -- A/R, A/P, G/L, Journal Entries, Balancing Accounts, Postings
* Excellent phone and communication skills
* Must be able to multitask and stay organized, while completing multiple projects in a timely manner with limited supervision
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
* Keeping accounting files in order
* Following up with all bookkeeping matters
* Post details of business transactions
* Reconcile bank and account balances
* Monitor Accounts Receivable and Payables
* Prepare payroll, business, property, and w/c reports
