Job Title: Nurse Practitioner
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care across various settings. You’ll collaborate with healthcare teams to assess, diagnose, and treat patients while promoting health and wellness. Your expertise will be essential in managing complex cases and providing compassionate care to individuals of all ages.
What you’ll do
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop personalized care plans.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations, including physical examinations and medical history reviews.
- Administer medications and treatments, including IV infusion and injections.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment options.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for accurate documentation and patient tracking.
- Engage in telehealth consultations to expand access to care.
Basic qualifications
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the relevant state.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with Epic or Cerner EHR systems.
- Familiarity with CPT coding, ICD-9, and ICD-10 coding systems.
- Background in critical care or emergency medicine settings.
- Experience in geriatrics, pediatrics, or hospice & palliative medicine.
