Responsibilities
- Hang and install drywall on walls and ceilings
- Measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets accurately
- Tape joints and apply drywall mud to achieve Level 4 and Level 5 finishes
- Sand, texture, and prepare surfaces for painting
- Repair damaged drywall and match existing textures
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of drywall installation and/or taping experience
- Knowledge of drywall tools, materials, and finishing techniques
- Ability to read plans and follow project specifications
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to lift and carry drywall materials as needed
- Must be dependable, punctual, and professional
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with commercial tenant improvement projects
- Experience with hand textures, knockdown, orange peel, and smooth wall finishes
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality standards
