Position Overview
We’re seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Medical Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping patients look and feel their best. You’ll support providers during dermatologic and cosmetic procedures, assist with patient education, and ensure smooth clinic operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet and prepare patients for exams, obtain and document medical history, medications, allergies, and vital signs.
- Assist dermatologists and physician assistants during medical and cosmetic procedures, including biopsies, excisions, laser treatments, and injectables.
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for each patient.
- Handle specimens for laboratory processing and maintain accurate labeling and documentation.
- Apply dressings, remove sutures, and provide post-procedure wound care instructions.
- Educate patients about medications, skincare regimens, and post-treatment expectations.
- Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards in all clinical settings.
