Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Associate to join our team! As a provider with Elite Dermatology, you will see several patients each day, going over their medical history, and conducting or prescribing tests as necessary to determine their root issues. You will also be diagnosing and treating the patient, prescribing medication, and offering lifestyle advice to avoid further issues, as needed. The ideal candidate has a compassionate, patient-focused approach to medicine, is comfortable seeing multiple patients in a single day, and has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and welcome each patient, making them feel comfortable in a normally uncomfortable situation
• Order tests and interpret the results, providing clarity to the patient
• Diagnose and treat patient issues, which may include minor skin surgery, prescribing medication, or offering lifestyle changes
• Maintain excellent records of patient interactions, medical issues, and treatment solutions
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Must be able to legally practice medicine within the state of New Mexico
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• The ability to read and interpret test results, while effectively communicating those to a patient
