Position Overview

The Superintendent is responsible for managing daily field operations across residential and commercial reconstruction projects. Reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager, this role ensures that work is performed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project scope, schedule, and quality standards.

This is a hands-on, field-driven position—ideal for someone experienced in insurance restoration and remodeling who enjoys coordinating trades, problem-solving on-site, and delivering outstanding results. The right candidate will also be willing and able to step in and self-perform minor punch list or finish tasks when necessary to keep the project moving forward.

In addition to field supervision duties, there will be opportunities to assist within ECG’s consulting division as workload and project demands require.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field activities for residential and commercial reconstruction and remodeling projects.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and project quality standards.
• Track progress and report updates, field conditions, and scope changes to the Project Manager.
• Review and interpret design drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
• Support project documentation, punch lists, and client walk-throughs.
• Communicate effectively with clients, property managers, and internal team members.
• Represent ECG with professionalism and uphold company standards on every project.
• Manage/drive the schedule with the ability to identify potential delays.
• Verify that all work is performed according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Inspect workmanship and monitor project quality assurance/quality control.

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience in residential or commercial reconstruction/remodeling;
• Proven ability to read and interpret building design drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, materials, and field coordination.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on approach with the ability to assist in completing punch list or finish items when needed.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $75,000–$85,000 annually (based on experience)
