What are the responsibilities and job description for the Superintendent position at Commercial Restoration Company (CRC)?
As a Healthcare Superintendent with CRC, your primary role will be to oversee and provide on-site coordination for all phases of mitigation and/or reconstruction projects. This includes customer communication, production schedule creation, facilitation of sub-contractor labor, buy-out schedules, quality assurance, verifying specifications are being strictly followed, change order management, and ensuring work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. The Superintendent is responsible for scheduling, inspections, quality control, and job site safety. What You’ll Do
• Lead and manage on-site construction laborers, trades, deliveries/materials, and client expectations
• Create and view project schedules and budgets
• Ensure construction activities comply with all relevant healthcare regulations, building codes, and safety standards
• Complete projects on time and within budget, while never compromising on quality
• Attend production meetings, client meetings, and other meetings as required
• Place orders for materials, and be responsible for equipment and materials on site
• Maintain records for site personnel such as daily field reports, field orders, RFIs, and safety meetings
• Obtain permits and coordinate with inspection authorities regarding inspections and approvals
• Review job profitability and engage in efforts to improve execution, as well as implement financial and operational controls to ensure gross margin execution
• Enforce corporate OSHA safety policies on jobsite, providing key responsibility for safety and compliance in the field
• Regular in- and out-of-state travel required
• Attend all appropriate company meetings, association and client events, and marketing team opportunities
• Obtain and retain certifications as requested by the company; enrollment and/or membership fees will be provided.
• Additional duties as required
Proven experience as a Superintendent in the healthcare industry, with a track record of successful project delivery
In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, building codes, and safety standards
Strong financial acumen and experience managing project budgets
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficient in project management software and tools
PMP certification is a plus
Salary : $65,000 - $95,000
