Duties
- Respond promptly to emergency calls for water damage, flood, fire, or mold remediation projects, demonstrating readiness for urgent situations.
- Perform thorough water extraction, drying, and dehumidification using specialized equipment and techniques aligned with industry standards.
- Conduct carpet cleaning and restoration procedures to salvage flooring whenever possible or prepare surfaces for reconstruction.
- Assist with fire restoration efforts by removing debris, cleaning affected areas, and applying appropriate treatments to prevent further damage.
- Implement mold remediation protocols safely using respiratory protection gear while following strict safety guidelines.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, Xactimate estimating software, and construction experience to assess damages accurately and execute repairs efficiently.
- Follow all safety procedures including respiratory protection and asbestos abatement protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements
- Prior experience in the restoration industry or related construction fields is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques including flood response and mold remediation.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment effectively.
- Familiarity with Xactimate or similar estimating software is a plus.
- Strong emergency response readiness with the ability to adapt quickly under pressure.
- Experience with cleaning processes such as carpet cleaning or asbestos abatement is advantageous.
- Construction experience or background in building trades enhances your ability to perform repairs accurately.
- Commitment to safety practices including respiratory protection measures during hazardous material handling.
