Elite Chiropractic & Sport is looking to add an Exercise Specialist/Chiropractic Assistant to our professional, knowledgeable and energetic team in our Columbia, MD location.
Elite Chiropractic & Sport is recognized as soft tissue experts in the chiropractic field and provides a full range of services individually designed to rapidly resolve injuries, restore function, and improve performance.
What we’re looking for:
· Bachelor degree in Kinesiology or similar field
· 2 years of experience working in a chiropractic or physical therapy setting (preferred, not required)
· Chiropractic Assistant certification through the Maryland Board of Chiropractic
· Strong multitasking skills
· Attention to detail
· Excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable working directly with patients
· Knowledge of rehabilitation exercises and ability to communicate programs to patients as prescribed by Doctors
What you’ll do:
· Manage patient flow within rehab center, moving patients between rehab rooms and treatment rooms
· Facilitate functional movement screens and evaluate range of motion through digital software
· Teach, demonstrate and explain rehabilitative exercise programs to patients as prescribed by Doctors
· Arrange various physiotherapy modalities
· Assist the doctor with soft tissue procedures
· Maintain accurate and detailed electronic patient notes
· Maintain HIPPA regulations
· Sanitize equipment and rehabilitation room
· Notify Doctors of any patient concerns
· Assist practice with new patient growth through referrals
· Assist in general office duties such as answering phones and handling inquiries in absence of Office ManagerHourly position with health insurance, retirement and vacation
Hourly position with health insurance, retirement and vacation. Bonus opportunity based on performance.
Hours:
Monday- Thursday 7:00am-5:00pm (lunch break 12-1pm)
Friday 7:00am-12:30pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
