We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Restoration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing restoration services to repair and restore properties affected by fire, water, mold, and other damages. This role requires hands-on work with various tools and equipment, ensuring high-quality results while adhering to safety standards. Prior experience in the restoration industry is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within the field. The Restoration Technician plays a vital role in helping clients recover from property damage efficiently and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning, water damage restoration, fire restoration, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement tasks as required.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for demolition, cleaning, and repair work.
- Operate construction equipment and perform minor repairs or modifications during restoration projects.
- Conduct carpet cleaning and other specialized cleaning services to restore property aesthetics.
- Assist with the use of asbestos abatement procedures following safety protocols.
- Document work performed and communicate progress with team members and clients.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety standards are met at all times.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Experience
- Prior experience in the restoration industry is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, fire and water damage restoration, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement is a plus.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, construction practices, and carpet cleaning equipment is beneficial.
- Experience working with restoration or construction projects demonstrates a strong foundation for success in this role.
