What are the responsibilities and job description for the Med Tech/Caregiver-Behavioral Health position at Elite Care?

As a caregiver with us, you will provide daily care to our residents by supporting their daily activities of living. This includes bathing/bathroom assistance and providing emotional support and encouragement and monitoring and reporting changes in health, behavioral needs, and overall necessities of our residents.
Work Location: 12353 SW Grant Ave, Tigard, OR 97223
Shift: Sun-Wed, Wed-Sat, 6-6. Wednesday is a half-shift.
Compensation: $19.00 to $22.50 per hour

Caregiver Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Assisting residents with ADLS
- Teamwork, cooperation, training & development
- Assist clients with personal care, which may include (but is not limited to):
- Bathing/Bathroom Assistance
- Morning/Evening Preparations
- Morning/Evening Dress and attire
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to perform necessary tasks
- Monitoring and reporting changes in health, behavior, and overall needs of clients
- Maintain a clean, safe and orderly environment for both residents and colleagues
- Ability to correspond and document properly for resident charting purposes.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and ambulate quickly and often throughout a regular shift.
- Must be able to pass a background check with the State of Oregon.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 6 months' experience in behavioral health or similar preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a med tech if applying for Med Tech role
- Speak, read and write English fluently
- Value and respect of those in long-term care
- Have consistent attendance/reliable method of transportation
- Ability to correspond and document properly in charts and portal
