The Role at a glance:
We are looking to add an experienced, enthusiastic chef manager to join our Corporate Chefs team in Concord MA. As a chef manager, you will have the opportunity to ensure that clients receive delicious, healthy food during every service.
What you'll be doing:
- Ensuring customer service needs are met at the highest standards.
- Being the main culinarian in a busy retail environment.
- Purchasing food, handling staff safety trainings, and being in charge of unit administrative tasks.
- Assisting in the designing of menus.
- Helping to hire and train new staff and attending training sessions and meetings when required.
Must-haves:
- At least one year of prior experience leading in a kitchen focused on cooking from scratch.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage your own schedule and schedules of others.
- Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills.
- ServSafe and/or HACCP certification
- Prior management experience, preferably in a culinary environment.
- Allertrain Certification.
- First Aid Certification.
