The Role at a glance:
We are looking to add an experienced, motivated executive chef for our Lancer Hospitality team in Mystic CT. As an executive chef, you will have the opportunity to run the BOH at an exciting Cultural Center in Mystic! We are looking for a chef that has previous experience in a multi F&B property and is passionate about quality food and leading a great team! This role will start in January, 2026.
What you'll be doing:
- Supervising the quality standards and practices of the food production process, including purchasing, food specifications, meal preparation, service, and sanitation.
- Developing standardized recipes and utilizing other production tools to ensure food quality and cost objectives are met.
- Participating in the planning and execution of special events.
What we're looking for:
Must-haves:
- At least five years of progressive culinary experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft software programs.
- Experience with budget statements.
Nice-to-haves:
- Associate’s degree in culinary arts.
Compensation Range
Base: $85,000-$95,000 plus bonus
