The Role at a glance:
We are looking to add a skilled, experienced Event Chef to our Constellation team at the Norton Museum in West Palm Beach, FL. As an Event Chef, you will have the opportunity to lead meal service and a talented kitchen staff for a variety of events.
(This positions will also support any events held in the West Palm Beach area)
What you'll be doing:
- Training kitchen staff as needed.
- Ensuring that kitchen has correct stock for event menu.
- Participating in all aspects of food preparation.
- Ensuring that kitchen staff adheres to all safety and sanitation policies, procedures, and regulations.
What we're looking for:
Must-haves:
- At least three years’ relevant experience.
- Superior knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Nice-to-haves:
- Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
