Billing & Customer Support Specialist
Job Type: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Schedule: Flexible hours between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Location: Terryville, CT — On-Site
Pay: $17–$21 per hour, based on experience and ability
About the Role
Eliminate ’Em Pest Control Services is looking for a dependable, caring, and computer-proficient individual to join our five-person office team.
This position combines customer service, billing, payment processing, accounts receivable, and general office support. The right candidate must work quickly, learn software easily, stay organized, and provide excellent customer care.
Some customers may be frustrated, confused, or concerned about a pest or billing issue. You must remain patient, kind, and professional without taking difficult conversations personally.
Responsibilities
- Answer customer calls in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist with billing, payments, account questions, and service concerns
- Create and send invoices using QuickBooks Online
- Follow up professionally on outstanding balances
- Process payments and update customer records accurately
- Respond to customer emails
- Document calls and follow through on customer concerns
- Assist with data entry and general office tasks
Requirements
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Patient, caring, and calm under pressure
- Comfortable handling upset or frustrated customers
- Strong computer and typing.
- Able to learn new software quickly
- Fast, accurate, and detail-oriented
- Able to multitask and work independently
- Dependable and professional
Experience with QuickBooks Online, Salesforce, billing, or customer service is preferred but not required.
Training will be provided on our systems and procedures. Candidates should already be comfortable using computers and speaking with customers.
