Pay Rate: $90.00 - $105.00/hr on W2
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.

Overview: We are seeking an experienced and visionary Product Design Platform Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user experience (UX) design and a proven track record of leading design initiatives that enhance user engagement and satisfaction. This role involves guiding the creation of innovative design concepts, establishing design standards, and mentoring a team of designers to deliver exceptional user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in the creation of design concepts, information architecture, user interface designs, wireframes, storyboards, prototypes, and specifications to meet project schedules.
- Independently perform and lead the creation and updating of user interface and visual design guidelines and standards.
- Provide UX expertise to the product definition and evaluation process, utilizing multiple sources of information such as field work, interviews, internet, intranet, and market data/literature.
- Review documentation of research findings presented to product and development teams, as well as new and modified user personas.
- Collaborate with leadership to strategize, develop, and implement visual styles that support platform branding and increase user effectiveness.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and peers to better understand the connection of their work.
- Interpret user feedback and insights to improve the user experience and serve as a reviewer of usability activities and artifacts to ensure software applications meet customer expectations.
- Ensure that developed/revised products achieve user-specified goals by establishing user-centered analysis, design, best practices, and standards.
- Organize team processes and mentor and train junior designers.
- Communicate effectively, checking for understanding and asking questions to understand others’ points of view.
- Advocate for the user experience across the firm and facilitate training for groups outside the UX team.
Required Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience as a design professional with a full understanding of UX and an area of specialization.
- Highly independent, needing little instruction on day-to-day work and general instructions on new assignments.
- Experience providing guidance and technical expertise for complex user experience activities, including user research and testing, interactive design, and visual design.
- Ability to synthesize situations and information across multiple factors and build expertise while applying company policies and procedures in resolving various issues.
- Comfortable giving design feedback and able to build good relationships with immediate and cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, user experience, design, human-computer interaction, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
- Advanced degree preferred.
Required Software/Technology:
- Proficiency in Figma.
