Job Summary
The purpose of this position is to assist the Student Access & Disability Services office with greeting students, assisting students with completing online forms, answering phone, and providing general office support.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Completed at least one semester of classes (at least 6 semester hours) at ECC
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proficient with technology, including typing, MS Office, and basic computer functions
- Previous customer service experience
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and technology
- Familiarity with ECC’s campus and the process for students with disabilities to apply for accommodations, or ability to learn these skills quickly
- Greet students who come to Student Access & Disability Services office and check in student for appointment.
- Assist students, who come to Student Access & Disability Services office, with completing online form to register for or request accommodations.
- Navigate students, who come to Student Access & Disability Services, to other offices on campus.
- Answer phones and make calls
- General office support
- Reception desk coverage
