Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Skilled Trades Recruiter to join our growing recruiting team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and placing skilled trades professionals across a variety of industries, including Manufacturing, Construction, Oil & Gas, Aerospace, Utilities, Facilities Maintenance, and Industrial Services.
The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting for technical and blue-collar positions and possess a strong understanding of skilled trades roles, certifications, and industry requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, recruit, and screen qualified skilled trades candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
- Conduct phone and video interviews to evaluate candidates' technical skills, work experience, certifications, and overall fit.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
- Partner with hiring managers and clients to understand job requirements and staffing needs.
- Verify candidate qualifications, licenses, certifications, and employment history.
- Coordinate interviews and manage the hiring process from initial contact through offer acceptance.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Develop and maintain relationships with trade schools, apprenticeship programs, and industry organizations.
- Stay current on labor market trends, wage expectations, and industry hiring practices.
