Our client, a manufacturing company, is seeking a Sales Analyst to join their team in San Juan Capistrano, CA!
The Sales Analyst plays a vital role in assisting the Sales Team with Sales Planning, Forecasting, and Analysis by providing insights through report generation and strategic data analysis. The Sales Analyst is the focal point for answering questions related to customer contracts, pricing and terms, and supports customer requests while providing overall administrative support to internal and external teams. The Sales Analyst is a super user of the firm's Oracle JD Edwards and EPM reporting, planning and analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately generates and processes reports that are distributed to firm’s sales personnel.
- Collect Sales data to analyze and report firm's Sales Revenue and Sales Projections at the Global, Entity, Channel, and Customer levels for weekly or Ad Hoc reporting.
- Prepares monthly sales and regional reports including revenue management, customer order analysis, and sales incentive calculation reports for individual and team production.
- Validates and Maintains Customer and Item Master Data, and initiates and communicates changes needed to maintain accuracy.
- Maintains and updates customer pricing.
- Prepares sales data and PowerPoint presentations.
- Produces reports used in the creation of the Strategic Sales Plan, Sales Forecasting, and Supply Chain/Operations Planning, and analyzes to determine appropriate sales and production goals.
- Creates and manages databases to ensure data integrity for accurate reporting and security of confidential information.
- Supports all sales-related functions in North America, including but not limited to profitability, product classification, information update, and product onboarding, in support of Sales and Product Management.
- Manages interfaces relating to various departments and systems within the organization.
- Assists sales team and IT department with latest software upgrades and coordinates training of new software.
- Understands and works within Oracle JDE Edwards ERP, ReportsNOW, Oracle EPM, and PowerBI to provide data to sales team to enable better decision making and productivity through analysis and reporting.
- Provide ongoing training and testing of firm's systems.
- Coordinates input of historical data in systems to ensure accuracy for future planning, forecasting, and comparison analysis.
- Generates Ad Hoc Sales Reports as requested.
- Reports to Director of OEM Sales while supporting International Aftermarkets field sales team, company and independent sales reps.
Salary: $70,000 - $85,000
