Our client, a leading investment firm, is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join their team in New York, NY! This individual will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable technology solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and operate user-facing tools that deliver measurable workflow gains for CRE use cases.
- Build and maintain Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems that allow users to query thousands of IC memos and investment documents using natural language.
- Develop workflows to extract structured deal information from IC memos using LLM agents, standardizing data from documents with varying formats.
- Implement document processing pipelines that chunk, embed, and store investment memo data into a vector database to support semantic search and retrieval.
- Integrate LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) to support query processing, contextual retrieval, and response generation based on relevant document embeddings.
- Build backend microservices that orchestrate the RAG pipeline, including document ingestion, embedding generation, retrieval logic, and LLM inference.
- Develop libraries and APIs to support consistent, reusable patterns across AI-powered applications and internal tools.
- Partner with stakeholders across investment, engineering, and data teams to gather requirements and rapidly prototype new AI-driven workflows.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Operations Research, or similar field.
- 5 years’ experience in full-stack engineering.
- Strong Python development skills.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems or similar AI-powered search solutions.
- Experience integrating LLM APIs and handling prompt design, token/latency/cost trade-offs, and structured outputs (function/tool calling).
Pay Rate: $65.00 - $85.00/hr
