Job Summary:

The Warehouse Team Lead will be working in receiving staging, material handling and/or shipping.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the successful receipt of materials and components into the facility.
    1. Verify items/components received and perform counts.
    2. Match to Bill of Labors and packing lists.
    3. Check for errors and compare against component masters per Receiving SOP.
    4. Tag and store receipts, following assigned locations, place receipts into proper storage locations.
  2. Oversee material handling, flow, and location placement in CSI. Conduct cycle counts and location verifications against movements daily.
  3. Oversee pulling and verification of inventory per the Staging SOP as required.
  4. Review shipping schedule with management.
    1. Oversee the process on Pick & Pack, and Ship within CSI
    2. Verify product, count, pallets, and BOL against production documents, reports errors when necessary.
    3. Oversee the wrapping, staging, and loading pallets onto trailers.
  5. Separate out packaging and bulk returns from finished goods, return inventory per Staging SOP.

Knowledge & Skills:

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Ability to operate or learn to operate forklifts
  • Ability to operate or learn to operate hand trucks, drum lifts, and pallet jacks
  • Efficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Availability to work with department leaders
  • Communication Skills -
    • The individual speaks clearly in positive or negative situations.
    • The individual can read and interpret written information.
  • Adaptability-the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Dependability-the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-4 years of Warehouse experience required
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to operate computers and relevant inventory management scanners
  • Previous experience with ERP preferred
  • Previous experience leading a team preferred

Physical/Mental Demands:

  • Regularly required to stand
  • Occasionally/frequently required to walk
  • Regularly use hands to finger, handle or feel
  • Regularly reach with hands and arms
  • Occasionally/frequently required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
  • Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

The physical demands identified above are representative of those that will be required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Work Environment:

  • Regularly required to work in areas where chemical materials are encountered
  • Regularly required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment
  • May involve exposure to shop environment including variable noise levels
  • Must customarily have a high consciousness for personnel and equipment safety
