What are the responsibilities and job description for the ASL Interpreter position at Elevation Healthcare?
We are actively recruiting for an American Sign Language Interpreter for a full time, school-based role available in the Columbia, South Carolina area for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. All applicants must be certified ASL interpreters in the state of South Carolina, as well as, hold or be eligible to obtain an SC Educator Certificate.

Compensation for these opportunities are lucrative, negotiable and pay significantly more than a traditional position working directly with the school district. Job Responsibilities:
- Listen attentively, comprehend spoken language, and interpret it accurately in real-time.
- Communicate clearly and effectively in the source and target languages, demonstrating strong communication skills.
- Establish rapport and maintain professional relationships with colleagues and clients through strong interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
- South Carolina ASL Interpreter certification
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience is preferred, but not required
