Role Description
We are seeking a Lead Technician for a full-time, on-site role in Dallas, TX. The Lead Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of elevators and escalators to ensure optimal safety and functionality. Daily tasks include diagnosing equipment issues, performing quality control inspections, adhering to safety standards, and maintaining detailed service records. Collaboration with project managers and clients to ensure timely completion of projects is also essential.
Qualifications
- Technical skills in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of elevator and escalator systems
- Experience with mechanical systems, electrical components, wiring, and controls
- Project and team management skills, including the ability to direct work, manage schedules
- Understanding and adherence to safety regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail
- Clear communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or technical training are a plus
- Prior experience in the elevator or escalator service industry is highly valued
- Ability to work on-site and handle physical tasks required by the role
