Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Lead Technician based in Dallas, TX. The Lead Technician will oversee installations of networking systems, audiovisual equipment, and related technologies for commercial clients. Primary responsibilities include conducting on-site assessments, leading installation teams, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring the quality and functionality of all installed systems. The role requires some on-site work but allows for remote work when appropriate for administrative or planning tasks.
Qualifications
- Experience in networking services, including wired and wireless setups, and high-speed data wiring
- Knowledge of audio and video conferencing systems and large-format screen installation
- Competency in project management, team leadership, and on-site problem-solving
- Strong technical troubleshooting, attention to detail, and ability to ensure quality standards
- Excellent communication, client management, and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with safety standards and best practices for installations
- Previous experience in commercial AV or networking installations preferred
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and the ability to travel locally
