Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products tailored to their needs, providing detailed product demos when appropriate
- Educate customers on product effects, usage methods, and responsible consumption practices with clear communication and patience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh, appealing products
- Conduct inventory checks, stock replenishment, and assist with merchandising to maximize sales potential
- Upsell products by highlighting new arrivals or complementary items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales volume
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably in cannabis Industry
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills and team collaboration
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate cash handling and transactions
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally
- Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and retail sales techniques to optimize store presentation and sales performance
