What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contracts Specialist position at Elevate?
Elevate is recruiting a Contract Specialist for teams working within our Contracts business unit delivering services to Elevate customers. You will be key to delivering quality contract services in a responsive manner.
Candidates must be located on the West Coast or willing to work Pacific Time hours.
Specifically you will
- Review, negotiate, and manage vendor and merchant contracts on a global basis.
- In-scope contracts for vendor support would include low to medium complexity master services agreements, consulting arrangements, professional services agreements, software licenses, hardware purchase agreements, SaaS agreements, Data Privacy agreements, sponsorship agreements, market research agreements, statements of work and other routine procurement agreements.
- Work closely with the customer legal team, procurement, and business units to complete requests independently.
- Review contracts and negotiate acceptable alternatives, working from templates and tools that you will help create.
- Facilitate escalation and resolution of contract issues.
- Update or draft templates, negotiation playbooks, and other contract infrastructure tools.
- Capture various pieces of information related to the contracts or matters that you support.
- Participate or manage customer projects to improve contracting efficiency, cost effectiveness, and knowledge sharing.
- Participate on task forces that strive to improve how Elevate services its customers and that enable our team to develop and grow.
Experience
- 3 years of relevant experience in transactional contracts support, reviewing, and interpreting commercial contracts including procurement, sales agreements, NDAs, software license agreements, other commercial agreements, and real estate agreements.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or Google applications.
- Proficiency in, or exposure to contact management, reporting, and workflow tools, helpful but not required.
Compensation
- US national salary range: $75,000-80,000, based on job-related skills, experience, level, and location. In addition, Elevate offers full-time employees a comprehensive benefits package and PTO.
