Hands on Bookkeeper – $65-75k, Locally Owned Central Omaha Business

This is a unique position that would be perfect for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and digging into the details of transactional accounting. You will have direct exposure to the Controller and Owner of the company, and they will turn to you each day to help solve problems and efficiently run the business.
- Own all daily bookkeeping including: post transactions, prepare journal entries, and generate financial statements with accuracy and consistency.
- Keep accounts payable running smoothly: process invoices, ensure timely payments, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Support accounts receivable, perform daily sales reconciliations, and help maintain healthy cash flow.
- Identify ways to improve bookkeeping processes and reporting to make the business run more efficiently.
