Duties

• Supervise daily roofing project activities, ensuring safety protocols and quality standards are met at all times
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and team members to develop efficient work schedules and resource allocation
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment to perform roofing tasks such as installation, repair, and restoration
• Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute roofing designs and specifications
• Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks involving concrete forming, metal stud framing, masonry, or tile laying as required
• Conduct on-site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues early, and ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
• Assist with construction estimating by assessing materials needed for roofing projects and related tasks like caulking, trim carpentry, or stucco work

Experience

• Proven experience in construction site management or roofing projects with a strong understanding of roofing systems and materials
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively
• Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings related to roofing or general construction projects
• Hands-on experience with various construction trades such as carpentry (including trim carpentry), plumbing, welding, masonry, or remodeling is highly desirable
• Knowledge of restoration techniques and metal stud framing is a plus
• Prior handyman experience or working knowledge of heavy lifting procedures enhances your suitability for this role
• Ability to interpret schematics and technical instructions for complex roofing or construction tasks
