Job Title: Litigation Coordinator
Location: On-site – Los Angeles, CA
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary Range: $66,500 – $72,800
Elevate is partnering with a leading litigation-focused law firm to identify a Litigation Coordinator to join a highly collaborative legal operations team. In this role, you will support attorneys handling a high volume of California civil litigation matters, with a primary focus on case resolution, post-resolution compliance, court filings, and mediation and settlement coordination.
This position offers meaningful exposure to the most procedurally critical stages of litigation and serves as a central point of coordination among attorneys, litigation support staff, courts, opposing counsel, and external vendors. The successful candidate will contribute to both day-to-day resolution workflows and broader operational initiatives, playing an active role in deadline management, compliance tracking, team supervision, and final case closeout. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented litigation professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume legal environment and enjoys balancing autonomy with close collaboration.
Requirements
- Ability to work on-site full-time
- 4 years of experience in California civil litigation with hands-on exposure to case resolution, court filings, procedural deadlines, and post-resolution compliance
- Working knowledge of California civil procedure sufficient to independently identify deadlines and understand consequences
- Experience preparing or coordinating cost recovery documentation in California state or federal court
- Direct experience managing court-ordered or compliance-driven obligations with fixed deadlines
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of concurrent matters
- Professional written communication skills suitable for correspondence with courts and opposing counsel
- Experience supervising or directing litigation support staff
- Proficiency with legal case management systems, document management platforms, and Microsoft Office
Preferred
- Prior experience in plaintiff-side consumer protection, lemon law, or high-volume civil litigation
- Familiarity with California consumer protection statutes
- Experience with e-filing platforms such as File & ServeXpress, One Legal, or similar systems
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or an ABA-approved paralegal certificate
