Position: Direct Hire Litigation Associate Attorney
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid-2 Days Onsite)
Elevate is currently working with their client, a California‑based litigation boutique firm, with their search for a Trial Attorney. This role is ideal for an attorney who wants meaningful responsibility, exposure to state court proceedings, and the chance to build a well‑rounded litigation skill set. Associates will take ownership of key case components while working closely with seasoned trial attorneys.
Depending on experience and interest, attorneys may focus on court appearances, discovery management, motions practice, or trial support.
Core Responsibilities
- Appearing in California state courts for hearings, trial calls, and case management conferences.
- Drafting pleadings, discovery requests, and discovery responses.
- Preparing and arguing motions, including discovery and dispositive motions.
- Analyzing case law and developing litigation strategies.
- Supporting trial preparation, including exhibits, witness preparation, and briefing.
- Collaborating with senior attorneys and litigation teams to move cases forward efficiently.
Qualifications
- Active license to practice law in the State of California (required).
- Ability to work remotely while managing California matters.
- Approximately 3–5 years of legal experience, including litigation‑related experience through practice, clerkships, clinics, or internships.
- Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Interest in civil litigation and consumer‑focused legal work.
- Ability to manage deadlines and work independently within a team structure.

Compensation
- Annual salary range: $120,000 – $200,000, dependent on experience and qualifications.
