Manual Machinist

EHC is currently looking for a Manual Machinist for client in the Pottstown, PA area.Job Summary:The position will fabricate precision parts for prototype equipment and fixtures working from sketches, drawings, and/or blueprints. Will perform a broad range of duties involving moderately complex assignments and projects.Duties and Essential Functions:Identify the desired machined part with internal customers through the use of sketches, drawings, and/or blueprintsSelect and set-up the proper tools and machine for each jobOperate various machine shop equipment to produce close tolerance machined parts to print specificationsAssist in troubleshooting and making repairs to production fixtures as well as machinery when necessaryWork closely with engineers and technicians to attain the desired end productWork independently under limited supervisionReceive guidance on complex problemsHSE Essential Functions:Recognize and comply with Health, Safety, and Enviornmental rules and polices that are applicable to each locationParticipate fully in the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) programParticipate in Behavior-Based Safety Programs (BBS)Report all incidents immediately to supervisorParticipate fully in site specific Emergency Action PlansJob Requirements:High School Degree PreferredVocational or Technical Education a plusC&C software experience a plusExcellent written and oral communication skillsGood organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in order to meet schedulesExcellent customer service skillsPhysical Requirements:The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
