What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Handyman position at Elevate Home Warranty?
Overview
Our ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills. They should be comfortable performing tune-ups / performing maintenance on appliances, replacing ceiling fans, replacing garbage disposals, etc... Experience in home maintenance, repair and/or home/walkthru inspections is preferred.
Responsibilities
Perform basic visual inspections and simple mechanical tests on home mechanical systems and appliances
Perform tune-ups and general maintenance on home systems and appliances in high quality manner
Interact with customers in a friendly, honorable, helpful manner
Possess the ability to replace ceiling fans, garbage disposals, and perform drywall repairs and other handyman tasks in high quality manner
Proficient with navigating smartphone apps and portals to document work
Visit customer homes in Utah and Salt Lake counties
Qualifications
2-3 years of home repair / maintenance experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Clean driving record and ability to drive to daily appointments
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including climbing, kneeling, and working in confined spaces.
Pay: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour
