The Role
We're looking for a driven, personable Business Development Representative to grow our attorney and paralegal network through outbound prospecting — cold calls, cold emails, LinkedIn outreach, and relationship follow-up. This is a sales role at its core, but it's also a relationship role: the people you're calling are busy legal professionals who need to trust you before they refer a client.
You will be the first voice many attorneys and paralegals at The Fastman Group ever hear from. That matters enormously to us.
What You'll Do
• Make outbound cold calls to personal injury law firms — paralegals, legal assistants, and attorneys
• Send cold emails and LinkedIn messages introducing The Fastman Group's services
• Follow up persistently and professionally across multiple touchpoints
• Educate contacts on our funding process, turnaround times, and rate structure
• Build and maintain a pipeline of active firm relationships
• Enter and track all outreach activity in our CRM
• Collaborate with Aaron (CEO) on messaging, targeting, and outreach refinement
• Represent the company with professionalism, warmth, and hustle on every contact
What We're Looking For
• At least 1–2 years of outbound sales or business development experience (legal industry a major plus)
• Comfortable on the phone — you don't dread cold calls, you dial
• Clear, professional communicator in writing and speech
• Organized and self-managed — you don't need someone looking over your shoulder
• Coachable and hungry — open to feedback and always looking to improve
• Genuine curiosity about the legal funding industry and how it helps plaintiffs
• Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
Bonus Points If You Have:
• Existing relationships at personal injury law firms
• Knowledge of the pre-settlement or medical funding space
• Experience selling into legal, medical, or financial services
