What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate & Securities Paralegal position at Elevate Flexible Legal Resourcing?
Our customer, an American multinational financial technology company, is seeking a Corporate & Securities Paralegal with a focus on security and governance to join our team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a dynamic environment and will be proactive in seeking out information and asking questions.
Duration: 3-4 months, convert to perm
Location: Remote (PST preferred)
Engagement Type: Full-Time Contract (40 hours per week)
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Focus on subsidiary and governance work.
- Utilize diligence systems for tracking and database mining.
- Perform limited securities work, including Form 4 filing, etc.
- Assist with public company securities as needed.
- Manage entity management and corporate governance tasks.
- Draft minutes of meetings (MoM).
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience with entity management and corporate governance.
- Experience with public company securities is a plus.
- Experience with International Subsidiary.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and a go-getter attitude.
- Experience working in a large company is a plus.
