As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a detail‑driven, people‑focused Underwriting Case Coordinator who thrives in a fast‑moving environment and takes pride in delivering a smooth, professional experience for advisors and their clients.
Responsibilities
• Managing life, final expense, disability, and long‑term care underwriting from start to finish
• Reviewing applications for accuracy and completeness
• Contacting clients to gather missing information or clarify details
• Coordinating paramedical exams and related requirements
• Ordering, tracking, and processing medical records
• Communicating with advisors, agents, and carrier underwriting teams
• Organizing, scanning, and transmitting documents to carriers
• Advocating for the best possible underwriting outcomes
• Preparing and sending documents and policies for electronic signature
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in life insurance case management or underwriting support
• Life and Health license preferred but not required
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of professionalism when interacting with advisors, clients, and carrier partners
• Proficiency with email, Microsoft Word, and general office software
• Comfort working in digital workflows, online portals, and carrier platforms
• Ability to learn new systems quickly and adapt to process changes
