Dental Assistant

Pine Ridge Dental Group is looking for a skilled, friendly Dental Assistant to join our team! We provide modern, conservative care in a setting where patients feel right at home. Schedule: Tuesday–Thursday, 7:45am–5pm; Friday, 8:45am–3pm (four-day work week!)
Pay: $23–$27/hour

What you’ll do:

• Prepare operatories and sterilize instruments

• Assist the dentist chairside using four-handed dentistry

• Take x-rays and intraoral photos

• Enter treatment plans accurately based on the doctor’s diagnosis

• Educate patients and give post-operative instructions

• Complete dental charting and coding

• Handle lab duties, including pouring models, taking impressions, and fabricating temporary crowns

• Stock supplies and maintain equipment

• Document and protect patient health information accurately

What you’ll bring:

• 1 Years/Experience as a Dental Assistant

• CPR/BLS certification

• Radiology certification

• Experience with dental software such as Open Dental or Dentrix

• Solid knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
